The DBS course at a glance
DBS is the foundational off-road course at ShiftMoto — focused on rider control, balance, terrain awareness, hills and elevation changes, braking, traction, and body positioning. It builds the confidence riders need before progressing into trail-focused training like Intro to Trail Riding.
Progression
Qualifies for Intro to Trail Riding
Successful completion of DBS qualifies riders for Intro to Trail Riding, our intermediate trail-focused course at Riverside State Park OHV.
- MSF DirtBike School (DBS)
- 8am–12pm half-day session
- $249 per rider
- Adult dirt bike rentals may be available through ShiftMoto partners, including Washington Moto Adventures and Full Throttle Club
- Kids bike rentals are available in limited quantities and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis
- Limited riding gear may be available upon request. Riders are encouraged to bring their own properly fitted gear whenever possible
- Helmet required
- Ages 6 and up
